There is a great conference coming up in October. A pity it is overseas.

Here is a draft program.

I went to the one in Australia in May 2005 called Blog Talk Downunder.

Also in Sydney we have an ICT Integrators Conference next week at North Sydney and I am looking forward to listening to and meeting Stephen Downes who is the keynote speaker.

Just have a go at offering a comment on your thoughts about blogging. You don't have to leave your name if you don't feel comfortable. Once you have done this on the same page you can create your own blog.

It is worth having a go.

Using a blog for fieldwork

Hi all,

First of all you can get the students to get a copy of the syllabus and create a podcast to guide them through the process of fieldwork.

For example here is a podcast on the Research Action Plan (1mb file)

On Monday I went for a walk to Appletree Bay thinking about how to approach this for you. I took a few photos so you can upload them on the blog in the same way I would be getting students to upload them.
